Encouragement

Today a friend sent me an email requesting that I send a random email address an encouraging bible verse. It was a chain where I send an email, put my friend’s name first when I sent the email and thus it becomes a chain of bible verses.  I was glad to do it but now I am here waiting for someone to send me a verse as well…. 

How many of us wake up each morning thinking of other people? Who wakes up thinking of helping someone else out? Is it too much work to encourage a friend? Does it mean we are too absorbed with our own issues that we do not think of helping others?

Are we living or merely existing? What is your purpose? Is every day spent working towards that goal that we have for ourselves and our loved ones?

I woke up this morning and the song” Open the eyes of my heart Lord” was in my head and heart. I want to see the Lord and all the blessings He thought fit to share with me.

My encouragement this morning is that God cannot give you something you cannot handle. He is with you all through. He has your back always. We should all crave to see the Lord high and lifted up shining in the light of His glory!! God loves you so so much. His love overflows and is never-ending.

There is a purpose for everything. A friend of mine recently traveled for further studies and will be away from her husband for 2 and a half years.  I can only imagine how that will be tough but it opened my eyes that we can do anything we set our hearts to. We only limit ourselves with the word “cannot”. We can do everything we decide to do!! She motivated me so so much and made me realise I only limit myself with my thoughts and words but I can do whatever I decide to.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!
